'The Crow, The Wall, The Child' Accordion Card
This illustration is digitally drawn and is digitally printed on 250 BioPure paper.
'This card is not for everyone, but nevertheless, for a lot of people'.
Story:
This card is made for those who are having a tough time and going through a difficult phase in their life. It's about dealing with depression and that relentless 'inner critic' that robs you of joy. Sometimes, we're too hard on ourselves. The wall you build might protect you from pain, but when it falls, you'll see that you can still stand strong. That inner critic is just a shadow, nothing more. The yellow blocks represent 'creativity and joy'.
I thought this card might be a comforting reminder for yourself, letting you know you're not alone, or a way to show someone else that you understand what they're going through.
Dimensions:
The print is 400 x 100 mm (FULL) and 100 x 100mm (FOLDED) / 15.75 x 3.94 inch (FULL) and 3.94 x 3.94 inch (FOLDED) and comes unframed.
With or without special envelope:
Note: There's no extra 'normal' envelope.
If chosen, the card does come with a special 'envelope' that's handmade in my own studio in Enschede that fits with the card. The front of the envelope resembles the yellow blocks that I've used in my illustration.
The prints will be sent to you in a cellophane bag and will be packed to ensure a perfect condition.
